Very Impressive Decorated Cigar Box!

Unique gift featuring the artistry of Gustav Klimt, early 20th Century artist.

The picture on the Lid is the Tree of Life. I also made several paper flowers from the same paper with a gold gem to set them off. The paper is so gorgeous! The pictures are edited to bring out the colors and designs. The colors are more muted than the photos show.
The feet are bronze claw style made of metal. This is a sturdy wooden cigar box with a built in wooden hinge. No metal hinges or knobs. There is an indention under the lid to open the box. The lid will stay open on its own.
There are several themes available to make Klimt Decorated Boxes. Choose the theme you would like featured on the lid of the box. I will use the same wooden box. Embellishments and adornments will vary slightly to coordinate with the theme.

Return within 14 days of delivery. Must be in excellent condition. You are responsible for return postage. Must be returned in USPS Priority 12x12x8” box. I will refund you the purchase price when received and inspected.

Famous Austrian artist Gustav Klimt🎉🎨 Klimt's love for cats is legendary. 😻 One of the most beautiful portraits of Klimt shows the painter with a cat in his arms. A large number of cats were left to roam freely around the rooms of both his studios. Klimt was well aware that the cats caused chaos with his many sketches, and sometimes damaged them. This did not bother him in the slightest. 🐾 🖼
Arthur Roessler, an influential art writer and critic, gives a striking account of the cats' feral activity in Klimt's studio. He also talks about Klimt's relaxed response to this behavior: "Once, as I sat with Klimt and rummaged around in a heap of papers, surrounded by eight or ten meowing, purring cats, play fighting with each other, so much so that the rustling study sheets just went flying, I asked him, puzzled, why he tolerated such antics spoiling hundreds of the most beautiful drawings. With a smile, Klimt replied: 'No, my friend, even if they crumple and tear one or the other pieces of paper, it doesn't matter.

To keep your box looking its best:
• Avoid placing it in direct sunlight (which may fade the paper)
• Keep it out of humid areas like bathrooms
I use high-quality, archival scrapbook paper that’s made to last for years, but gentle care will help it stay beautiful longer.
The box size I use depends on the paper design. Most designs are made using 12x12” paper, but smaller prints (6x6” or 8x8”) require smaller boxes. If you’d like a different size than shown in the listing, just message me—I’ll let you know what’s possible and do my best to make it happen.
A: A custom box takes extra time because I carefully plan the design with your preferences in mind. I may need to order special embellishments or supplies to make it truly unique. Your input is always welcome!

All boxes are thoroughly aired out before decorating to ensure there’s no residual odor. I also clean and line each one with care. All work is done in a smoke-free studio, and your box will arrive fresh and ready to enjoy.
I only use clean, undamaged cigar boxes that are free of odor.

Each decorated box is thoughtfully wrapped to ensure it arrives safely and beautifully:
• First, I wrap your box in two layers of soft tissue paper for a gentle protective layer.
• Next, it’s wrapped in two layers of bubble wrap to cushion it securely during transit.
• I then tie it with a coordinating ribbon, not only for a charming presentation but also to make it easy to lift the box from the shipping carton—just pull the ribbon.
Your order is then placed in a sturdy box and shipped with care. I take pride in every detail, so your unboxing experience is as delightful as the keepsake inside.
My two feline shop assistants like to supervise from a distance—but don’t worry, I have a strict paws-off policy! They never come into contact with materials or products. All boxes are created and stored in a clean, smoke-free studio, and your order will arrive fresh, odor-free, and beautifully wrapped.
All of my keepsake boxes are authentic upcycled cigar boxes. I carefully select the best ones to decorate, and most surfaces are covered with premium papers, trims, and embellishments. For my Camacho “piano finish” boxes, the glossy black lids may show faint surface scratches from their original life — these are minor and add to the authentic character of the box.
